What is a Product?

The definition of a product is much wider than people often appreciate.

A product is anything an organisation produces that provides value by solving a problem or addresses a consumers need or want.

It can be tangible, such as physical goods, or intangible, such as digital goods or services.

Every product has a producer who creates the product to receive a profit (often financial) and users who get value from it. A product may have a customer who buys the product who may or may not also be the user.

You may need to define your product and its boundaries.
