# How does the Nexus Integration Team handle integration issues?

The [Nexus](https://www.thescrummaster.co.uk/glossary/nexus/) Integration Team takes ownership of integration issues, although they may not always be the ones to directly resolve them. They play a crucial role in identifying and addressing these issues by working closely with one or more Scrum Teams. Their involvement can range from consulting and [Coaching](https://www.thescrummaster.co.uk/glossary/coaching/) teams on best practices to delivering tools and technologies that facilitate smoother integration processes.

When integration issues arise, the [Nexus](https://www.thescrummaster.co.uk/glossary/nexus/) Integration Team may perform work directly from the [Product Backlog](https://www.thescrummaster.co.uk/glossary/a-scrum-artifact-that-consists-of-an-ordered-list-of-the-work-to-be-done-in-order-to-create-maintain-and-sustain-a-product-managed-by-the-product-owner/) that affects multiple Scrum Teams or is related to integration. For example, they might implement a [Continuous Integration](https://www.thescrummaster.co.uk/glossary/continuous-integration/) tool and then train the Scrum Teams on how to use it effectively. This hands-on approach ensures that the necessary solutions are in place and that all teams are equipped to maintain the integrated [Increment](https://www.thescrummaster.co.uk/glossary/increment/), thereby supporting the overall goal of delivering a high-quality product.
