These activities help the team to systematically address the areas that need improvement.

Firstly, the team identifies issues by revealing and understanding the current situation. They then explore potential solutions for the highly ordered issues. Lastly, they plan and identify a limited number of actionable improvements to be implemented as early as possible. Most of the available time is usually spent on the planning and actions section to ensure that the retrospective results in a concrete, actionable plan.
