The Sands Macao is a hotel and casino resort located in Macau, China. It is owned and operated by the Las Vegas Sands Corporation. It comprises a 229,000 square feet casino, and a 289-suite hotel. It opened on May 18, 2004 at a cost of $240 million.
TheScrumMaster.co.uk was engaged to run private Scrum training for the Human Resources (HR) team at the Sands. The objective was to help them learn and evaluate Scrum to see how and where it could be used in operating the hotel & casino.
