Live Virtual Class - TheScrumMaster.co.uk

All our courses are available live & online. In a Live Virtual Class (LVC), you will attend remotely from your home, office or other location and link into a live online trainer-led class.

The content for our Live Virtual Classes is exactly the same as our in-person offering. Attendees will be able to see, hear and interact with the trainer and the other attendees as if they were attending in person. Attendees will interact during the sessions, joining in discussions and taking part in small and large group activities.

The class will run from 09:00 to 17:00 each day in the time zone listed (unless otherwise detailed on the course page and joining instructions). Lessons will be broken down into short sections (around 60 minutes) followed by a break (15 minutes) to allow attendees time away from the screen.

The class will be every bit as interactive as if it was happening in person. We can do some wonderful things with the tools available to us today. The benefits of a Live Virtual Class include:

Don’t worry if you have never attended a Live Virtual course before, we will support you every step of the way. We will send you full instruction on how to prepare for the class shortly before your selected date so you can set up and test your equipment.

Live Virtual Class Requirements:
– Computer with an internet connection.
– Microphone, Speakers and Webcam
– Free install of Zoom.us
– We can assist you with the setup in the days before the class if required.
– The trainer will be available for 30 minutes each day before the course starts to offer any technical assistance required.

I sat a 2 day Profesional Scrum Product Owner course with Simon. Probably the best training course I've sat to date, very informative, Simon is very easy to approach and can explain things clearly. I would highly recommend Simon to anyone looking to take any type of Scrum training.

Simon came in to deliver Scrum foundation training across various IT and Business areas here at the University of York. I cannot recommend this training and this trainer highly enough, Simon was professional, fun and engaging. Simon delivered a really strong PSM 2 class, making good use of technology to allow us to continue learning even in the middle of lockdown. Excellent class which uses a good combination of classroom teaching, hands-on exercises and group discussions. Good pace and great anecdotes and past experiences shared by the instructor to help position the topic and bring it to life.

As someone who is relatively new to Scrum and from an HR background I found the training to cater for all levels without unnecessary jargon. The two days were nicely paced and at no point did it feel that a particular topic or section was rushed. I particularly liked how Simon used a variety of examples that were not specific to software development to facilitate learning.

I've been a Scrum Master several time and this is a class where you can find other Scrum Masters which share huge insights and excellent tips about their experience. I strongly suggest to attend this class if you want to improve your Scrum Master skills and knowledge of the role.
