How can the maturity of a product affect the creation and usefulness of Sprint Goals?

As a product matures, the nature of the work may make Sprint Goals more challenging to create and less useful in practice. If most of the Scrum Team’s work involves support and maintenance, then the goals can be clearly stated but may offer less benefit in terms of focus and innovation.

In such cases, the team should still strive to set meaningful Sprint Goals that align with their ongoing work. Even though the goals may be less impactful, they can still provide direction and purpose, ensuring that the team remains aligned and productive in their efforts.
