The Cross-Team Refinement event is typically attended by the Product Owner, Developers, and Scrum Master. The Product Owner may be supported by Product specialists, particularly in a scaled environment. Developers from the Scrum Teams participate, but not all members need to attend. Scrum Teams self-manage to determine the most appropriate representatives for the event.
The Scrum Master may also attend as needed to facilitate the event. The Nexus framework recognises that attendance may evolve over time through inspection and adaptation. This flexibility ensures that the right people are present to effectively refine the Product Backlog items and address any emerging dependencies.
