Why is it difficult for people in traditional teams to feel connected to the end-user or customer?

In traditional team setups, people often work on just a small component of a larger product, which can make it challenging to see the direct impact of their work on the end-user or customer. They are typically isolated from the complete product development process and its outcomes, focusing only on their specific tasks. This isolation can lead to a lack of motivation and a diminished sense of contribution to the overall Project.

Furthermore, the disconnect is exacerbated by the frequent handoffs between teams, making it hard to maintain a clear line of sight to the end goal. As a result, team members may find it difficult to appreciate the Value their work brings to the end-user, reducing overall job satisfaction and engagement.
