What are Sprints in Scrum?

Sprints are the heartbeat of Scrum, where ideas are turned into Value. They are timeboxed periods of one month or less, during which a Done Increment is created that meets the Definition of Done and achieves the Sprint Goal. These sprints encapsulate all the other Scrum events and the work necessary to create Increments.

A Sprint begins with a Sprint Planning event and concludes with the Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospective events. Additionally, the Daily Scrum event is held each working day during the Sprint, ensuring continuous progress and alignment among the Scrum Team members.
