The Sprint Review is one of the five key events in Scrum. It is conducted at the end of each Sprint, before the Sprint Retrospective, with the primary purpose of inspecting the Increment, assessing progress towards the Product Goal, and making necessary adaptations to the Product Backlog. This event is critical in ensuring that the team stays on track and adjusts its plans based on what has been achieved and what changes have occurred in the Project’s environment.
The review is timeboxed to four hours for a standard Sprint. If the Sprint is shorter, the time allocated for the review is typically reduced proportionally. This ensures that the event remains efficient and focused, without taking up more time than necessary.
